Cathe Friedrich Cardio Core Circuit DVD workout for women and men – This 51 minute, cardio intensive, circuit style exercise DVD is broken into five fitness rounds. In each exercise round you will do three short, but intense cardio drills back to back and then repeat them for a total of six cardio bursts per round. After each of these cardio workout groupings, you’ll do intense functional core work to target your midsection and help to build strong, toned abs. Exercise time is valuable, and you want to get the most benefits out of each workout, right? Most of us don’t have unlimited hours to work up a sweat. Time is valuable. The good news? We can get more out of our workouts by multi-tasking, accomplishing more than one fitness goal at a time. The more muscles you work while getting your heart rate up, the better. Some of the most time-efficient exercises are multi-tasking moves that work multiple muscle groups and get your heart rate up at the same time. Who couldn’t use a little cardiovascular conditioning? One area we shouldn’t neglect is our core, the power generating muscles that connect your upper and lower body.

When you break into a sprint, do a deadlift, or serve a tennis ball, you generate the power and strength you need from your core. The core musculature is command central for movement. Your core muscles also help stabilize your body. When they’re strong, you have a lower risk of back, knee or ankle injury.

Cathe Friedrich is a certified professional group fitness instructor who has been teaching fitness classes for over 30 years and was inducted into the Fitness Hall of Fame in 2011. Cathe has over 20,000 hours of teaching experience and owns a large Gym in New Jersey where she continues to do what she loves – teach group fitness classes and help as many people as possible reach their fitness goals. Cathe started producing exercise videos about 30 years ago with the goal of bringing the same gym quality workouts her clients at her club enjoy into the privacy of your home. Today Cathe has produced nearly 600 workout videos.
